Danger Rangers to Premiere on Public Television

CHARLOTTE, September 20: Danger Rangers, a safety-themed series for school-age children, will launch on public television stations across the U.S. in October.

The first 13 episodes of this comedy-adventure animated series produced by Educational Adventures will debut on public television stations in major markets around the country including those in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, Houston, San Diego, Detroit and Charlotte. The series will teach children to Think Safe, Play Safe and Be Safe. The Danger Rangers are a group of animated animal characters that use action-adventure storylines, catchy song lyrics and vibrant colors to capture young childrens attention and empower them to make better safety decisions.

Public television pays one million euros for Romanian ER

Romanian TV series "La Urgenta" ("The Emergency Room") which will premiere Wednesday evening has a production budget of one million euros, said the director of the TV Romania, Irina Radu.
The sum accounts for the first 15 episodes and is covered by the TVR budget.
"La Urgenta" looks into the stories of a team of doctors from an emergency hospital in Bucharest, in their fight against diseases, death, the system and their own weaknesses.
Actor and director Florin Piersic Jr. plays one of the leading roles, Radu Panc, the prototype of the ideal doctor who is the opinion leader of his group and very passionate about his job. Other cast also includes Daniela Nane, Adriana Titieni and Lucian Staicu.
